Solid and tortoiseshell in blue, brown, cream, lilac, and red. Always in a sepia pattern.
Environment:
The European Burmese needs to be a full member of a loving household where it is not left alone too often. Indoor cat.

Health Concerns:
Lipemia of the aqueous humor (minor), corneal dermoid (surgically fixed) gangliosidosis, Orofacial pain syndrom, congenital peripheral vestibular disease (in kittens), hypokalemic polymyopathy (potassium deficiency), flat-chested kitten syndrome,  kinked tail , elbow osteoarthritis, endocardial fibroelastosis (in kittens), dilated cardiomyopathy, diabetes mellitus. Most health defects occur in kittens and as such, it is a good idea to not bring home a Burmese younger than 4 months.
