Golden Girl BLANCHE DEVEREAUX is a beagle of a certain age looking for a home. Blanche is a 10-12 year old 24 lb cuddlebug. She came to us with some medical issues, but now she's healthy, fully vetted and ready for love. She is a sweet little lady who would be so happy to be someone's constant companion. Want an excuse to avoid doing something? Blanche will happily crawl into your lap and hold you down on the sofa for a nice nap. She's a low key girl -- Blanche's idea of exercise is following you to the bathroom. She's fine with dogs, cats, kids, walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Blanche is basically perfect. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
