Jazz, a 2 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix was hit by a car, received no medical care and ended up with a badly mangled leg that was beyond repair. He was then dumped in a shelter. His leg was amputated last week and he's doing so well in his foster home, where he is affectionately known as Lieutenant Dan. Jazz is ready for his furever home! He's a sweet, happy, cuddly 26 lb boy, dog and kid friendly. He's housebroken

but does not love his crate. Walking on a leash is a new experience for him, but he's moving around just fine.

Our adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 3 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
